First Step is an educational game for toddlers and kids aged 0 to 6 years, keeping fun and early learning in mind. While the basic idea is sound, there has to be an exciting little reward every time they get a correct answer. Stars, nice sounds, balloons, instead they get a monotonous voice repeating the same weak praise over and over.
You only get 2 categories for free and the child asking the questions does not speak English as their first language
You cant even understand the voices on here... I could barely figure out what it was saying, let alone my 3 year old. Definitely not recommended.
It is really hard to understand the child speaking in the app. Some things come out fine, but others have a strong accent. I see my daughter get frustrated when she doesnt understand what the kid is saying.
Cute idea but its difficult to understand what they are saying. I had to delete it because my daughter just got frustrated at not understanding what it was asking her to find.
